Connecting people to food and farmers to the community.
Tour de Farm is more than an event. It is a communal journey organized by Slow Food First Coast to strengthen the bonds of local food systems. By connecting farms and communities, Tour de Farm lays the groundwork for experiential learning that supports local producers and inspires healthy patrons.
In 2017, I had the opportunity to design a logo and develop brand assets for the recurring event, establishing a look and feel to aid in recognition and patronage by attendees. Slow Food First Coast also enlisted me to set up the map and guidebook for the event day. My goal was to capture the feeling of adventure with references (dashed lines, aged textures) to that of a childhood treasure map…creating a sense of adventure for participants as they explored northeast Florida and local producers.
