Tour de Farm is more than an event. It is a communal journey organized by Slow Food First Coast to strengthen the bonds of local food systems. By connecting farms and communities, Tour de Farm lays the groundwork for experiential learning that supports local producers and inspires healthy patrons.
In 2017, I had the opportunity to design a logo and develop brand assets for the recurring event, establishing a cohesive look, supporting recognition, and patronage by attendees. Slow Food First Coast also enlisted me to set up the map and guidebook for the big day. My goal was to capture the feeling of exploration with references (dashed lines, aged textures) to that of a childhood treasure map…creating a sense of adventure for participants as they traversed northeast Florida.
