Eastern Quality Foods announces the appointment of Richard Cockrell to its sales team. Mr. Cockrell brings to Eastern his broad knowledge of the food service business as well as extensive trading experience.
Mr. Cockrell began his trading career in Memphis in the 1980’s and prior to coming to Eastern worked for Harvest Meat Company. His business with Eastern will be based out of his home office in Youngstown, FL.
“Richard has an established business trading a diverse product list.” Said Ted Rueger, president. “I know there will be opportunities for many of our traders to leverage Richard’s customer and supplier relationships to grow business.”
Mr. Cockrell and his wife Pam have seven children and five grandchildren. An avid outdoorsman, Mr. Cockrell is an experienced fly fishing guide and enjoys pheasant and duck hunting.
Eastern Quality Foods specializes in the wholesale distribution of poultry, beef, seafood, pork, eggs, and other products.
